How to fish it

Use a 9–12 ft leader with 5X–6X and make reach or slack-line casts to feed the drift over rise rings; present slightly above the fish and let it ride. Add tiny micro-twitches if they inspect but won’t commit. Keep the abdomen/shuck untreated; dress only the wing lightly. If refusals start, drop one size or switch to a BWO emerger before the peak, then a rusty spinner near dusk.

Care

Blot dry after a fish and revive with a powder/shake desiccant. Avoid heavy gel on the body or shuck to maintain the low-in-the-film posture.
