How to fish it

Cast down-and-across, mend for a slow swing through the seam, then add a gentle lift at the hang-down to trigger eats. In slicks, grease the leader to keep the fly just under the film, or fish it as the top fly above a small nymph. Use 4–5X and keep swings short and controlled.
