How to fish it

Use a 9–12 ft leader with 5X–6X and make reach or slack-line casts to feed the drift along rise rings and soft seams. If fish inspect but refuse, step down tippet or drop one size; switch to an emerger before the hatch peaks, then a rusty spinner near dusk.

Care

Rinse after use and air-dry before boxing. Dress wings/hackle lightly with gel or paste; revive after a dunk or fish with a powder/shake desiccant while keeping the abdomen mostly untreated.
