A super-buoyant caddis dry that thrives in rough water. The Goddard Caddis (Natural) uses a tightly spun and clipped deer-hair body with a natural-toned wing and palmered hackle to throw a chunky caddis silhouette that stays on top and skitters like the real thing.

How to fish it
Dead-drift along seams, then add deliberate skitters and micro-twitches over riffles to trigger slashing eats. Prospect tight to banks, foam lines, and pocket edges; or run as a dry-dropper with 16–24" of 4–5X to a small nymph or pupa.
Care
Rinse after use and air-dry before boxing. Dress hair and hackle with gel/paste; revive after a dunk or fish with a powder/shake desiccant.
