How to fish it

Cast tight to cover and retrieve with short strip–pause–strip sequences that leave a steady V-wake; pause in pockets and at lane intersections to trigger the eat. Work parallel to weed edges and skip into holes in the pads. Use stout tippet (12–20 lb for bass/pike; 2–3X for trout) and a low, firm strip-set before lifting the rod.

Care
